Courage
Courage, 2025 is part of TNT Art Lab’s inaugural exhibition Ritual and Resistance. Courage is a community driven participatory activation that invites visitors to shape the work, resulting in a living archive of collective values. The work asks viewers to reflect on the following questions and write their answers directly on sheets of paper.
1. How do you exercise courage in the face of intimidation and fear?
2. How do you embody justice in a world shaped by inequity?
3. How do you practice compassion in a culture of cruelty?
4. How do we protect ourselves and each other when our communities are under siege?
5. How do we preserve our stories and histories from the threat of erasure?
Ritual and Resistance features six visionary artists: Nanci Amaka, Mary WD Graham, Helina Metafria, Trina Michelle Robinson, Jasmine Narkita Wiley, and Lava Thomas.
